Happy Birthday 2025

I was born in the state of Tamilnadu in India in 1960.

My ancestors, (I understand through translations of original literature in sanskrit, given my mother tongue is Thamizh) designed and employed models to measure the movement of the planet earth as it moved amongst starts and the moon for very many applications, one of them being the determination of the age of a person. Their model, to the best of my unvalidated understanding, had two purposes. With out going into the details of the application of those purposes, the first purpose served to determine the earth’s position around the sun; it was based on a circular co-ordinate system with twenty seven segments, each marked by a star visible to the naked eye to define the position of the sun as observed from the earth on a given day. The second purpose served to determine the moon’s position around the earth and was based on the phases of the moon as observed from the earth on a given day. Both models share the same definition of a day, as a sixty segment movement spanning our 6am on a given day to 6am the following day.

I was born in the state of Tamilnadu in India in 1960 and lived in a small town called Palani in the state of Tamilnadu in India. My family remembered my birthday by using almanacs that used the position of the planet around using the number of spins of the moon around the earth, increasing the age counter by one when the planet looks over the sun at the same star from the same direction at the time of birth, noting, the phase of the moon may not be the same every year. It turns out, they are this year, a data point I can use when I develop my approaches to alternate model for cyber security solutions later on these pages, no more no less. My date of birth was noted as 24 October, given I was born at 1:45am a time that belonged to the 24th that spanned from 6:00am on 24th till 6:00am on 25th.

I completed my H Sc or SSLC as we called it, in Palani. My school administration however, relied on a 24hr day spanning 12:00 am to 12:am and did not have mechanisms to accommodate my family’s understanding of my birthday and issued my school leaving certificate with a DOB of 25OCT2025, a document serving as a primary reference for all other identity documents since. Many a time when I was to provide evidence I am actually me, this difference in perspective has been a source of some pain and immense amusement to me. I never thought in my wildest imagination that it will infact become a useful conflict to trigger an innovative approach for deriving innovative models to derive a definition of a day.

Happy Deepavali 2025

I am a regulatory die-hard who worships physics, with its own hundreds of models such as Newtonian Physics, Plank’s physics, Einstenian Physics and so on standing in for its deities- my personal deity being my own model of Physics, calling it Ramesian Physics for fun.

As a devotee in the alters of Ramesian Physics, there is no room for understanding words such as forgiveness or punishment; I pray for peace choosing to employ intended meaning of phrases such as truthful and accurate communication of failure of intent and potential/actual containment action, correction and prevention.

Given Deepavali is just around the corner, I am taking an early mark off to regroup and rejoice with our friends and family:

-regroup (slaying the misbranding/misinformation/misperceptions with sathya i.e, truths on this boumi ie., planet earth instead of power-weapons such as chakra or gatha ) by taking stock of the nara (man) inflicted adversities(naragam/hell on earth) that have blown up to asura (monstrous) proportions, their residual consequences requiring immediate containment actions, corrections and prevention, and available avenues to designing and delivering those immediate containment actions, corrections and preventions

-rejoice by lighting the lamps illuminating every one of those avenues potentially available to us in the coming year for immediate containment actions, corrections and preventions through our commitment to each one of our relationships with our family and our friends as we tide over another year

I was grateful to SMH for enabling my ability to read the article from my laptop, given I closed my account back in June- I was warned that would be my last free article, and so I chose to write my post, by way of bidding farewell until lzerobzero’s coffers build up sufficient funds to prioratise a subscription to SMH.

And what better page to do so than my tilling grounds for lzerobzero’s pipeline initiative, IndustrialRennaissance exploring value imparted to humans as a seamless culmination of applied arts as communication and applied science as engineering built on the foundations of my proposed model of physics as spontaneously dispersive [Ramesh., S., Omniverse, 2021] as an alternative to Newton’s model based on gravity and Maxwell’s electromagnetism.

A playful indulgence lead to listing “modern engineering wonders” that serving their intent with complete relevance to humans that they serve as they did at the time of design and subsequent release/opening for use, that I have enjoyed over the past twelve months- equal firsts:

Metro-across Port Jackson - no small feat to put an automated people mover underwater with necessary assurance of safety to seamlessly connect with the existing transport infrastructure of my town, the one and only Sydney!

Bangaluru airport terminal -2 - no small feat in engineering excellance demonstrably showing respect for the artistic vision for elegance providing visual respite for the weary traveler/traveler embarking on to expend their energy in air-transportation.

Excel(Microsoft) - a piece of software spreadsheet-application that continues to serve its intent since early nineties at every one of, ?.? trillion instances of use, crowning Joel Splosky as the Nikola Tesla of software engineering.

Tension curtain rods- I don’t know who invented them, but its simplicity, elegance and performance delivering intent to home furnishing is a statement in designing for user environments that are as many as the users that its impracticable to validate each of them.

Ankarsrum stand mixer- a piece of kitchen aid that delivers to my husband’s exacting baking needs as it probably has been delivering to the baking needs of thousands of humans since 1940; its expected to potentially doubly up to serve as the only tool I’d need to prototype my design approaches to explore alternate solutions for proven engineering designs serving most walks of life.

IT System Administration is a human thing that can not be AIed/MLed/NLed

I am a regulatory die-hard. Conflict of interest is a is a fundamental principle in all regulations that finds manifestation in the way the civilised world has organised itself in all entities across the spectrum of interests such as government functions, various industries, industry peek-bodies, academic institutions, charities(though I don’t quite like the word because of its inherent ability to miscommunicate intent and practise) and so on.

Conflict of interest manifests in system design as not allocating specifications for mitigation of potential failure of a subsystem to itself- self correction is difficult to design and in most cases its easier/less burdensome to conceive and implement an additional subsystem or atleast a controlled interface to another subsystem to implement the mitigation. If the potential failure is anticipated in a software subsystem, one would have to necessarily assume any mitigation implemented in the software subsystem is also prone to not dissimilar mode of failure; its easier to implement mitigation for software failures in hardware or all together eliminate the functionality from the system and assign it a human user; specifically note, assigning a mitigation of a software failure to a user through labelling is at best naive in critical systems or systems whose failures may potentially lead to permanent human harm (death or serious injury).

Identifying and addressing conflict of interest is a skill that can not be derived from decisions based on rewarding past history, because, most conflicts are triggered by unique situations encountered(unknown/unhandled exceptions) in the field, completely out of the controlled scope of the system designer. Specifically, its my insight that autonomous solutions incorporating AI/ML/NL for administering IT systems whose failure has a potential for human harm can not foresee and prevent human harm; nor can one isolate the root cause upon eventuation of human harm in a way that the system can be corrected to prevent recurrence- its much more practicable for the business to hire good system administrators dedicated to understanding the intent and scope of use of the system, set up measures for assurance of services commensurate with the organisational need. Rule of thumb from my experience with good system administrators is, for every 150 human months of IT use in localised IT systems, you need atleast one human month of system administration efforts- a cost I would budget for in digitising- or there is always the non IT option for critical information needs of organisation of any size - last time I checked , I could pick up a 46 page note book for fifteen cents Australian and a pen or pencil for an additional dollar or two.

Specifying the person in the objective to accomplish security of person: Strength and Weakness

Almost all humans have the cliched attribute that would win their interviewer over: its my insight that every human’s weakness is actually also their strength.

Almost all roles a human is engaged to do make the most of the human’s capacity to play their strength- and rarely give a thought to the situations where that strength manifests as a weakness.

And almost all employments are broken at the first sight of such manifestation, typically driving mediocracy in the work place because the organisational structure does not have the necessary framework to enable its human employees to play their strength in adversity, advancing organisational capabilities or loosely described as organisational learnings**, preventing not dissimilar adversities and thus striving towards perfection. Its also my insight that complex multinational-organisational frameworks assume a geographic-monolith of its operational priorities feeding cavitations that would burgeon unattended to until it pushes the organisational learning frameworks to sub par mediocracy -often irrecoverably. Given businesses exist to make money through serving their offerings, the offering leaving their lines a precursor for the inward flow of its money, business decisions reach out to external businesses forgetting that the external businesses exist to resort to make money through serving their offerings, the offering leaving their lines a precursor for the inward flow of its money, often recursively depending on the extent of the customer base, the complexity of the offerings and the presence/absence of a sugar-daddy-conglomerate exposing themselves as takeover targets- at this point the priorities to perfect the offering may potentially have lost its place- often irrecoverably. AI/ML/NL based solutions dig sink holes of consensus reality by amortising human engagement in one or more businesses cementing mediocracy as a worthwhile pursuit. அஞ்சுக்கு ரெண்டு பழுதில்ல is ok forஜாதக பொருத்தம்,* its completely unacceptable for solutions that have consequences to human life, liberty and security of person.
